Seattle area reviews

Tap House Grill (550 106th Avenue North East, Bellevue, WA 98004, 425-467-1730) - Tap House is similar to Rock Bottom but has more of a "hip" type atmoshpere feeling. It does not have the same setup as Rock Bottom does in the sense that it does not have many televisions. It is more of a formal place to eat and have drinks but does have a great Happy Hour. Obviously the biggest upside of Tap House is the variety of beers they have on tap. They offer over 160 beers at all times on tap which makes it easy to find a good pairing to any kind of food you order. The location is great in The Galleria, located by the Rock Bottom brewery and across the street from California Pizza Kitchen. The free parking garage allows for easy access to the restaurant without any headaches. Overall, good place to meet up with friends for a few drinks to catch up or for a Happy Hour after work.

Flo Japanese Sushi Restaurant & Sake Bar (1150 106th Avenue North East, Bellevue, WA 98004, 425-453-4005) - Flo restaurant is cool with a great atmosphere. I like the layout of the restaurant, however the food is quite pricy. The service is good too but the mood is really dull. Flo is a good place to go if you are on a date but if you are just going to stop in some place for sushi with some friends, there are other places in Bellevue that will be faster and save on your pocketbook. The restaurant has room for a lot of occupants and has cool dishware and layout. The staff is nice and good about checking in on their patrons. Parking can be a tad bit frustrating as it is only street parking that I know of, and with the city growing so fast, it is only going to get worse. If you are looking for an upscale sushi restaurant for a date, Flo is one I would recommend.

Thai Grill (10666 North East 8th Street, Bellevue, WA 98004, 425-637-1185) - Authentic! This is a place that I love simply because of the atmosphere. If you are looking for a nice sit-down restaurant that is inexpensive and provides really good service, this is it. A unique family-owned business I believe - everyone works very hard to make sure that you are not kept waiting long and your water is always full (which is important for me with spicy foods!). With exceptional prices (most dishes under $10) and friendly staff, it is a go-to place in Bellevue if you are looking for a smaller, restaurant that does not always require reservations. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly which is another plus for anyone looking to dine out with kids.

Imo Asian Bistro (704 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104, 206-264-9570) - Having worked in Pioneer Square, Imo Asian Bistro was a great place to go for Happy Hour and sushi during lunch or after work. It is a great atmosphere with a young staff that is eager to serve. The sushi is also priced fairly well and accommodates groups pretty well. It is a very cool, laid back atmosphere as well. Parking is tough because it is located downtown off of First Avenie, but if you are in the area and feel like sushi, I recommend it. They have a really good Happy Hour as well after work hours starting at 5pm. The thing that makes Imo Asian Bistro stand out the most, in my opinion, is the lunch menu though. They have a great deal on sushi with a lot of variety. They have options to customize a particular meal you want and allow for substituting of rolls.
