The Tsudome is a multi-purpose hall located in the Higashi-ku area. "Tsudome" is actually its nickname. Officially, it is called Sapporo Community Dome and it is managed by the Sapporo Health Sports Foundation. Along with a number of sporting competitions (marathons, basketball, football), the dome holds other events such as the Golden Market (the biggest flea market in Sapporo), and the Sapporo Snow Festival (the largest snow festival in the world).
