Sapporo is known as the birthplace of miso ramen. The so-called Ramen alley in the Susukino area, dates back to 1951, and it is home to some of the best miso ramen. With more than a dozen restaurants, big and small, lining both sides of the alley, it is hard to decide where to eat.
