The La Liberté éclairant le monde is a small bronze statue, realized in 1889 by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi. A girl from the Third French Republic for the 100th anniversary of American Independence in 1876, the statue of Liberty has become one of the iconic figures of XIX century French scuplture.
